Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Service Description
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by exploring the ways in which a person thinks and behaves, and the impact that this can have on our emotions and experiences. It has a strong evidence base and very good outcomes for recovery, which is why it is commonly recommended as a first line treatment within healthcare settings. It's most commonly used to treat anxiety disorders (such as OCD, Social Anxiety, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder and PTSD) and depression, but can also be extremely effective for other mental health problems (such as psychosis and bipolar) and physical health problems too (for example, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain, and neural circuit dizziness). **If you are a new client, please book a free 20 minute initial consultation before booking a therapy session**
